Election of the Executive Board

Please vote for our nominees for chapter board positions for the 2024-2025 year.

There are no contending nominations for any of the positions, and we need to elect an individual for President-Elect/Vice President as a write-in.  Please consider those individuals within our chapter that you feel would meet the needs of this position (duties provided as a link below).

Election is open through May 6, 2024. The term runs July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025. This is a great opportunity to get to better know your colleagues, and influence and support our Lower Columbia Basin Chapter.

Our elections committee is led by Past VP John Harris, Cevin Ladwig and Scott Dawson.

President

Mark Cranston, CSP, CHST, RS, STS, works for CPCCO. He has served as President, Vice-President, and Delegate for the Lower Columbia Basin Chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals. He has worked at the Hanford site since 2002 as IHT, Safety Professional, IH and IHT supervisor. He has been a Professional member of ASSP since 2006. Mark is committed to providing an environment for growth, building relationships, and creating a place of learning for the Lower Columbia Basin Chapter of ASSP.

Vice President

Treasurer

Denise A. Pitts, MS, CIH, CSP, works for CPCCo as a project Industrial Hygienist and Occupational Safety Professional. She has served as President Elect, President, and Secretary of the Lower Columbia Basin Chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals (LCB-ASSP) and is currently the Treasurer of LCB-ASSP. She is also a Past President of the Pacific Northwest Section of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (PNS-AIHA) and is currently the Executive Secretary for that organization. She earned her CIH in 2007, her Master of Science in Online Industrial Hygiene from Montana Tech of the University of Montana in 2008, and her CSP in 2009.

She is currently providing IH and safety support to the Canister Storage Building (CSB) project and the Waste Encapsulation and Storage Facility (WESF) on the Hanford Site. She has worked at the Hanford Site since September 2000.

Secretary

Erin Davis, MS, CIH, CSP, works for PNNL as a Worker Safety and Health Professional. She currently serves as Secretary of the Lower Columbia Basin Chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals (LCB-ASSP).  She earned her Master of Science Industrial Hygiene from Montana Tech of the University of Montana in 2020, and the CSP and CIH in 2021.

She is currently providing IH and safety support to the Research group at PNNL. She has worked at PNNL since July 2023 and previously worked at the Hanford Site from 2010-2023.

Advisor Group Member

Adele Dallman has 13 years of industry experience in Safety and Health, following graduation from Central Washington University in 2010 with a B.S. in Safety and Health Management, with a minor in Environmental Studies. Her experience involves Industrial Safety work with two different Hanford nuclear waste cleanup contractors, and three separate Lamb Weston food manufacturing plants. Currently, she is working to master new skills and knowledge as an Industrial Hygienist at the Hanford nuclear waste treatment and vitrification plant. Other ambitious endeavors include; three years serving as team manager for local youth hockey, selection for and completion of Leadership Tri-Cities Class XXIV (2018-2019) and passing the CSP in December of 2020. She was recently accepted to the Industrial Hygiene M.S. program at Montana Tech and plans to begin classes in the fall. Adele enjoys being part of process improvements and hopes to continue as the Advisory Group representative for the ASSP Lower Columbia Basin Chapter, to help ASSP achieve maximum potential for member satisfaction, as well as industry and community impacts.
