We look forward to you joining us.\n\n\nSpeaker: Michael Heffner\n\nHeffner will be presenting on how the unit of measure mmHg—originating from Evangelista Torricelli’s early barometer experiments—remains a fundamental standard for safety and emergency response professionals to perform accurate risk assessments for both hazardous chemical environments and medical monitoring. He will highlight its vital role in assessing patient conditions like blood pressure\, coronary perfusion pressure\, and end-tidal carbon dioxide\, as well as evaluating chemical vapor pressures during hazardous materials incidents.\n\nProudly Joining the Kennewick Fire Department in 2021 Michael serves as Deputy Chief of Operations.  Michael possesses a Master's degree in emergency services administration from California State University\, Long Beach and completed the Executive Fire Officer program at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg\, Maryland.\n\nPizza and soda will be served for $15.00\n\n\nIf you have any questions\, please contact Mark Cranston at (509) 396-4086.
