Topic: Overexertion: Using Alternative Therapy to Overcome Repetitive Use Injuries

As Safety professionals, we cannot get to new places by traveling old roads. Injury prevention and “striving for zero injuries” begins with the mindset that we have to think AND act outside the box. This presentation explores opportunities in injury prevention through alternative treatments. It will also explore the important aspect of self-care; teaching employees how to take care of themselves before aches and pains get out of hand.

Speaker: Eli Brackenbury, LPN

About our Speaker: LPN for 7 years, almost all of it in Occupational Health. Obtaining Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management; Mortgage Broker for 17 years prior to going to Nursing School. Certified CPR/First Aid instructor. Former line cook, repo man and dabbled in stand-up comedy.
