Check out photos from the 2018 Chapter Ugly Sweater Holiday Party
Dec 07, 2018
December 5, 2018 the Lower Columbia Basin Chapter enjoyed an evening out with colleagues and friends.
Charitable contributions were donated from Chapter members in the form of Non-Perishable food items for the local food bank as well as unwrapped toys for girls and boys which were given to the Marine Toys for Tots which will make a difference in some children’s holiday this year.
We also enjoyed giveaways and door prizes, an ugly sweater contest, and a festive white elephant exchange.
Our Holiday Party is an annual event where we contribute to the needs of our local communities in the lower Columbia basin. Non-members are always welcome to attend and participate with us as we strive to make a positive impact.
Columbia Basin College’s Industrial Health and Safety Technology AAS Degree Program
Jan 22, 2018
Columbia Basin College’s Industrial Health and Safety Technology AAS degree program has been approved and is now accepting students. The first IHST program course is set for next fall, but students can begin taking classes right away to complete their General Education.
Please help us pass the word out to those with High School students and others interested in a Health and Safety career. Those with CSP’s and CIH’s might consider taking a class or two to earn points toward their recertification.
Information on CBC’s IHST program can be found at http://www.columbiabasin.edu/index.aspx?page=2293
